We camped here with our grandson who enjoyed the pool. The individual showers were very nice and clean. The laundromat appeared to have just been painted and was clean. The directions to nearby attractions provided on the campground map were very helpful. If in this area, we would camp here again.
The staff was friendly and helpful allowing us to choose our site. The trolley runs through the campground about every 30 minutes. The cement patio was nice. The bath house was clean, but could use some updates allowing more room in each. Our grandson enjoyed riding his bike and the swimming pool. This is our third time at this campground and it had a new playground. As an added bonus, we were given tickets to eat free pancakes each morning at a nearby restaurant.
This is a beautifully located campground with plenty of deer for the viewing. We enjoyed our hike to the falls in the park. The sites are mostly level and are well kept. We have stayed here several times. The only thing we don't like is that you cannot make reservations. If the showers were redesigned where your clothes didn't get wet, it would be better. A shower curtain would help. All in all, it is a nice campground, but don't expect to have cell phone service.
